The BPR Team

Team members must be released, chosen carefully and need to be process-orientated, creative, persistent, optimistic, enthusiastic, possess good interpersonal skills and able to take a holistic view.

Insiders

• work within and know the process
• they have detailed information about its activities

Outsiders

• from other departments or from outside the company entirely e.g. consultants.
• as friendly critics, they bring in fresh perspectives to the process to dis-assemble embedded assumptions

Team Training

BPR teams need training on re-engineering methods and principles, lateral thinking, use of IT tools and applications,methods to assist with change management and implementation.
