Download and Instructions for PKWare
PKWARE is a file zipping (compression) and unzipping (expanding) shareware program
for use on DOS based PCs. Only the PC version is available from this page at the moment.
You do not need PKWARE to unzip the BOLA spreadsheet files
downloaded to your machine as these have been both zipped and
converted into self-unzipping/executable format. However if you want a copy
of PKWARE it is available below.
Having downloaded your spreadsheets to disk either:
- From Windows 3.1.
select RUN from the File menu and enter the name of the spreadsheet file e.g.
budget.exe. The file will self-extract/unzip into its original format from its
compressed and converted form.
- From the DOS Prompt
At the DOS prompt, enter the name of the spreadsheet file e.g. eoq1.exe.
It will self-extract/unzip ready for use e.g. with EXCEL
Down-load PKWARE
to a disk drive that you select e.g.
A: or H:
Run pkware.exe from the Windows file menu or from the DOS prompt - to self-extract/unzip
the software.
